Our Best of Weddings from 2018

You guys… where did 2018 go?!

Seriously. When we think back on all of the amazing #CooneyCouples and the year that we have had- from being voted The Knots Best of Weddings for Photography to magazine publications to endless online publications (more than we have even share or posted about… because we keep on losing track of them all!)…

We are just beyond thankful.

But to be honest… to talk about just our accomplishments and on having (another) record braking year would be obsolete. Because the truth is… more important than any of the beautiful photos or the awards or the recognitions… we made so many amazing friendships. We traveled all the way from Key west to North Carolina (and beyond) this year, and no destination or charcuterie board could ever be better than the friendships and relationships that we created with the people in the photos.

And so many people that aren’t shown in the photos. We are so incredibly thankful to have worked with so many amazing vendors on top of it all. From Angelina at The Apostolic Wife from Kady and Casey’s wedding day, and Happenings by Kambria from Breanna and Shay’s wedding, and the uh-mazing team over at The Wedding Authority for Kayla and Jason’s day, to the amazing planning and arch design at Cassandra and Michael’s wedding by Myles Edward– and so many more, we could not be any more thankful for all of their amazing organization, flexibility, and support that they have provided to our couples and our business.

But we can’t forget the hidden gems.

The ones who are so often overlooked, yet do so much behind the scenes. The amazing luxury wedding venues (and the amazing venue coordinators) who served not only as the stunning backdrops, but who also have referred us over and over bringing some of the most amazing couples to our community.From the stunning downtown all-white venue at The Vault, to the tropical Key West sands at Sunset Key Cottages, to the all white estate waterfront at the River House, to the always luxurious (and personal favorite) at the Sandpearl and the beautiful ocean view ceremonies at Opal Sands, to the historic venues- like The Orlo House, to the always loved pink walls of  The Ringing Museum.

Because y’all… not all hero’s wear capes… but we’re pretty sure that all wedding coordinators are hero’s. (Trust us when we say that you won’t regret having one!)

As we look through these photos and reminisce on this amazing year…

We have to, yet again, say thank you.

Because as our hearts overflow with joy and pride… the truth is… that non of this would be possible without our couples. Without our amazing readers. Without each and every one of you that says.. “You have to work with Shauna and Jordon and be a part of their Cooney Couple Community!”

Because you know.

You know that this is so much more than just pretty pictures. That to be a Cooney Couple means being a part of something so much bigger. Being a part of a community that believes in the beauty of marriage. A community that we love to love and serve.

A community that we worked so hard to to create.

A community where our couples mean absolutely everything to us. A community where we bustle dresses and fix hair and makeup and tie boutonnieres. Where we hold your flowers and make you laugh. A community where we give our couples the most incredible luxury experience on the day that they marry their best friend.

A community made up of these beautiful people.
